Overview
Kosmaj is a legendary mountain, one of the most significant in Šumadija. We’ll find out what the ‘Kosmaj Cross' is, see the monument that has inspired hundreds of artists and architects, and then head to a craft brewery: not only will we raise a glass to our adventure, but we’ll also take a look at how the legendary Brrka is made.
On this tour, we’ll relax like true Serbian tourists: we’ll go for a brisk walk without getting tired, and then we’ll ‘unzhivati': enjoy delicious food, cold beer and stunning views.

What's the Plan?

A peaceful day in the countryside, filled with fascinating stories and friendly people.
Programme
We sample craft beer and take a tour of the brewery: we examine the equipment, handle the malt and hops, and consolidate what we’ve learnt on a clearing with a stunning view of Mount Kosmaj.
We’ll be back in Belgrade at around 7 pm.
We’ll meet the transfer and guide at 10.30 am in Ušče, Belgrade. The journey will take about an hour.
We arrive at the Tresie Monastery. We take a look at the ancient stones and old stained-glass windows. Sometimes you can catch a glimpse of Serbian festivals here.
We explore the monuments at the summit, taking in the panoramic views and the vista of distant Avala.
